KRXQ/Sacramento Hosting Benefit Drive For California’s Camp Fire Victims

ENTERCOM Active Rock  KRXQ (98 ROCK)/SACRAMENTO  is hosting a donation drive to benefit CALIFORNIA’ Camp Fire victims. 98 ROCK is  broadcasing live TODAY (TUESDAY NOVEMBER 13) from 10a to 6p (PT) at GOODWILL in SACRAMENTO, CA to collect donations for families affected by the Camp Fire in PARADISE, CA.

ENTERCOM SACRAMENTO SVP/Market Manager STACEY KAUFFMAN said, “Our SACRAMENTO listeners are always there to help out in times of need and we really need their help more than ever in the wake of CALIFORNIA’s most devastating wildfire in history. Thousands of people have lost their homes, and many thousands more have been evacuated with nowhere to go. Supplies are desperately needed and we are doing our part to help in any way we can.”

“The community members impacted by this devastating fire are like family to us,” said RICHARD ABRUSCI, Pres./CEO, GOODWILL INDUSTRIES of SACRAMENTO VALLEY & NORTHERN NEVADA. “We see and interact with them on a daily basis and knew that we needed to step in and help immediately. Our hearts are with everyone impacted as they face some very difficult times.  Each member of the GOODWILL family is committed to continuing to provide resources on the ground both now and in the future.”

98 ROCK will be collecting baby formula, baby food, diapers, clothing and non-perishable groceries, which will be sorted and distributed by GOODWILL INDUSTRIES to the affected region. Monetary donations will also be accepted.
